Tughlaqabad Fort Tughlaqabad Fort in south Delhi was built to protect the city from Mongol invasions and is now in half-broken condition. It also houses the tomb of sultan Ghiyasuddin I.

A sandstone and marble mausoleum built for Nawab Safdarjung in 1754 is now a popular venue for pre-wedding and romantic photo shoots.

Qutub Minar
Qutub Minar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and iconic structure in South Delhi, named after Qutabuddin Aibak. It is a popular tourist spot.

Lotus Temple
The Lotus Temple, a Bahá’í House of worship in South Delhi, is famous for its lotus-shaped architecture and has won several accolades.

Jamali Kamali monument
Jamali Kamali tombs, located in Mehrauli Archaeological Park, belong to two Sufi saints who lived during the Lodhi rule. The monument was built between 1528-29 in red sandstone with marble decoration.

Jahaz Mahal
Jahaz Mahal is an overlooked monument in Delhi from the Lodhi period, known as the Ship Palace. It has beautifully carved square chhatris and a small mosque. A colourful festival in October is held there.

Hauz Khas complex
Hauz Khas Village in south Delhi is more than just upscale shops. It has a bygone mediaeval era with ruins and monuments, including the tomb of Feroz Shah Tuqlaq. A hotspot for youngsters.
